HERS (Health Education and Research Society) is a non-profit society registered under the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act, 2012, with its registered office in Gurugram, Haryana.

To promote education and research in medical fields by providing adequate resources to researchers and care givers — building the institutional capacity needed for India to contribute meaningfully to global medical knowledge.
Bridging international standards and Indian medical practice.
To integrate and collaborate with champions of international quality standards to improve the quality of medical research in India.
To work as a liaison between the public and academicians in reducing knowledge gaps through structured programmes.
What HERS is established to do.
HERS targets four main focus areas: research in medicine, training, community programmes, and collaboration with other medical institutes and hospital centres.
- Promote research among specialists with special emphasis on diabetes and associated conditions, including fatty liver disease.
- Conduct seminars for physicians interested in new medical advancements and clinical practice.
- Carry out research studies in collaboration with global centres and publish findings in national and international journals.
- Conduct basic, translational and clinical research in diabetes and endocrinology.
- Train out-going DM / DNB candidates.
- Work with global consultants and national/international agencies on research, training, skill development and course accreditation.
- Actively participate in community campaigns for the promotion and education of disease prevention.
- Promote academics of excellence across the field of medicine.
